Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical evaluation and treatment to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries
- Work collaboratively with advanced practice providers and nursing staff
- Respond to trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and other urgent care situations
- Perform clinical procedures as necessary in an emergency medicine setting
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality of care
Additional Information
- Must have 3+ years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine
- Active Kentucky medical license required
- Required board certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts
