This facility is seeking a Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, one provider will be scheduled from 8:30a-5:00p and the second provider will be scheduled from 10:00a-6:30p.
- Setting: Outpatient clinic.
- Cases: Clinic based coverage. Follow up patients and some new patients (3, 6, 12 month appointments). Coordinating emails with ancillary services, ordering oncology tests, refilling patient prescriptions. Follow up on treatment of patients and seeing patients prior to them doing chemotherapy. Bone Marrow Biopsies. Will see both inpatient patients as well as some virtual patients from clinic.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ days.
- Licensure: Must have an active California license.
