Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members.
The RN is responsible to the Clinical Manager for the assigned Department.

Through a team approach, provides professional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients within an assigned unit through the process of assessment, treatment, planning and evaluation in support of medical care.

Utilizes knowledge of the physical and behavioral signs and symptoms of chemical dependency while facilitating all dimensions of the recovery process.
3.
Implementation of appropriate interventions and ongoing reassessment according to the criteria established by the American Society of Addictive Medicine.
Maintains treatment actives of the department in compliance with sound clinical practice, department and hospital policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
HFAP, TJC, IDPH and OSHA.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE 1.
Demonstrates full working knowledge of the nursing process and its application to the addicted patient.
2 Mush have the ability to demonstrate substance abuse counseling methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Operates tractor trailer tanker units
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
- Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
QUALIFICATIONS
- Class A CDL
- Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
- Minimum 3 months of liquid tanker experience
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- Ability to climb and work from heights
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
