Position Description and Job Skill Set:

• We are looking for a talented and highly effective Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer to join our development and support team.
• We are currently supporting, enhancing, and maintaining the Child Support System.
• The enhancments include use of latest technologies as needed to interface/integrate with other systems on different platforms and automation of current processes.

Required Skills/Experience:

Technical Skill Set Requirements

• Programming experience in Natural, and the utilization of ADABAS.
• Experience running Natural processes in batch via JCL and/or SCL, and online - 10 Years.
• Experience in the analysis, design, and programming of large or complex development projects on large-scale Linux systems - 2 Years.
• Experience with automated child support systems - 4 Years.
• Ability to provide subject matter expertise on system architecture - 3 Years.

Business Skill Set/Requirements

• Ability to provide recommendations regarding enhancements to the systems and processes - 3 Years.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes - 3 Years.
• Experience training end users on software - 3 Years.

Technical/Business Skill Set Requirements

• Knowledge of child support policies and procedures, and current state and federal mandates as implemented or similar to child support system - 2 Years.
• Experience interpreting, designing and implementing federal and state mandates in Linux systems - 2 Years.

Preferred/Not Required:

• Ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Strong oral and written communication, and time management skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently but effectively with a team to accomplish team projects and solve technical problems.

Ten years of experience with Software AG products, ADABAS, Natural, Natural One, Predict, Construct, ADABAS Replication, Treehouse tcVision, WebMethods EntireX, CONNX SQL gateway, ApplinX, Natural AJAX.

Ten years of experience analyzing user requirements and designs along with testing, implementing and performing

quality assurance of information systems utilizing Natural One, ADABAS, MVS/JCL, COBOL/CICS, VSAM files,Linux/zLinux, Espsoft/SCL, Informix, and UNIX.

Three years of experience advising on system architecture, and developing, maintaining, and updating documentation for procedures, policies, and processes.

Two years of knowledge and experience of SNAP, TANF, eligibility, economic assistance, and child welfare policies and procedures, and implementing state and federal mandates in Linux systems.

Preferred/Not Required

Provide any skills/experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required. Examples: Previous supervisory

experience, WebLogic experience helpful, etc.
