Denver Health Medical Center in the heart of Downtown Denver, CO is recruiting for an Oral Surgeon to join our Oral Surgery Department as a clinician and core faculty member in our Oral Surgery Residency Program. In addition to residency responsibilities, attendings in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Denver Health will have the opportunity to practice full scope hospital-based surgery. Attendings will have an opportunity to develop a faculty practice in a brand new state of the art facility at our Outpatient Medical Center and will have responsibilities to cover resident clinics, and will be appointed a faculty rank at the University of Colorado commensurate with years of experience/achievement.

About this role:

As a Physician in Surgical Oncology, you will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer care team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will work closely with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient. Your commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care will help advance our mission of improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience. This position will focus on minimally invasive/robotic and open complex surgical procedures of hepatobiliary diseases, including tumors of the liver, biliary system, pancreas, stomach, small bowel, retroperitoneal, and other intra-abdominal malignancies.

• Competitive Compensation $520,000 + plus the potential to earn more with a production incentive
• This position includes a $25,000 sign-on bonus, and up to $20,000 for relocation assistance (if applicable). We're also PSLF eligible.
• You will practice at St. Joseph Hospital predominately with plans to expand on a limited basis to Good Samaritan Hospital
• Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
• 2-3 days in the OR and remaining time in the clinic.
• You will be expected to participate in hospital and medical group conferences, cancer committee and tumor boards, and community outreach development.
• There will be an adjunct faculty appointment to the General Surgery Residency at Saint Joseph Hospital, and you will be expected to participate in both operative education and didactic education of residents and medical students.
• There will be expectations of limited, after-hours General Surgery Acute Care call along with our GME faculty surgeons at Saint Joseph Hospital. There is no trauma call responsibility.

• Comprehensive non-invasive cardiology practice, including inpatient (CCU/consultative services) and outpatient care

• Interpretation of stress testing, ECGs, and ambulatory rhythm monitoring

• Advanced echocardiography, including transesophageal and stress echocardiography

• Opportunities for cardiac imaging, including nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and potential involvement in cardiac MRI, based on training and interest

• Supervision and teaching of cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students through our academic partnership with the University of Colorado

Qualifications

Required:

• MD or DO degree

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease

• Level II echocardiography training

• Commitment to team-based care and service to a diverse, multicultural patient population

Preferred:

• Advanced echocardiographic expertise (3D echo, strain imaging)

• Level III echocardiography and/or NBE certification

• Certification in nuclear cardiology and/or cardiac CT

• Procedural TEE experience

Exciting Neonatology Position in the Beautiful Rocky Mountains

We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified Neonatologist to join our Rocky Mountain Neonatology practice. Our Neonatologists work collaboratively with our Neonatal Nurse practitioners and Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians as part of a busy, growing practice in the Denver region.

• This is a 1.0 FTE position

• Neonatologists round daily, provide on-call coverage from home and have 24/7 support of in-house NNPs.

• NNPs and neonatologists work collaboratively in providing care to high-risk patients

• Full range of services are provided in L&D, well-newborn and NICU Levels II and III

• Coverage includes locations in the Denver metro area

• NICUs in the practice serve a network of hospitals with approximately 10000 combined deliveries

• This practice is community based, with all call taken from home

• Excellent communications skills and interest in participating in education of nursing staff, NNP's, medical students and family practice residents
