Responsibilities:
* Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center, covering orthopedic hand call.

* Required Procedures/Job Duties: All standard hand surgery procedures, including complex upper extremity trauma cases. The provider will manage cases related to traumatic injuries and provide necessary surgical interventions.
* Patient Load: Provider will be expected to cover all hand trauma cases during their 24-hour call shifts. The volume may vary depending on trauma cases during each shift.
* Support Staff: No direct support staff is provided during call; however, you will work alongside other hospital trauma teams as needed.

Our physician and advanced practice providers see 18 to 20 patients during a full 8 hour work day. Patients are mostly adult family medicine patients with concerns such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, depression, anxiety and much more. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Must be able to work on Monday and Friday. The clinic uses Athena as its EMR.
