Position Summary
The Regional Director provides market leadership and direction for the effective management of operations and the delivery of home health agency services, strategic planning, development and attainment of market/Company goals and objectives.

Job Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. What you will do in this role:
- Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
- Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
- Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
- Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
What qualifications you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado or multistate license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school, BSN preferred
- Two to four years of emergency nursing experience preferred. Charge and/or leadership experience desired

The Registered Nurse may be asked to float to areas other than his/her assigned service area, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center. Specialized skills for Labor & Delivery/LDPN include: (1) ability to provide the nursing process for low risk and high risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients; (2) ability to scrub and circulate in the Operating Room for cesarean sections and other surgeries related to OB care; (3) ability to provide recovery room care to patients undergoing surgery related to OB care; (4) ability to provide routine care to the healthy newborn; (5) ability to institute resuscitation to a compromised newborn. Perform Lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as defined. Complete competency as required. Follow lab testing safety guidelines, maintenance and QC completion/documentation, and proficiency testing as assigned. Follow "good lab practice" in testing and initiate corrective action as issues occur with test system or result. Educational records (diploma or transcript) are mandatory for staff performing non-waived testing. Position will be responsible for taking call and meeting call shift requirements established by the department.
II. Position Requirements:
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license. Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Current NRP certification through AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics).. Current ACLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred. C-EFM and RNC preferred.
**Colleagues participating in a transition to practice program must have all required certifications at the completion of their program and transition to independent practice.
B. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN is desirable.
- Experience: Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice. Experience requirements are specific to positions and departments as appropriate. Experience preferred for L&D/LDPN include: one year high risk labor & delivery or two years low risk labor & delivery, or enrollment in the RMC Labor & Delivery Course if no L&D experience
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrates good organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Standards of Nursing Practice at Rose Medical Center. Displays appropriate judgement and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
