The Dental Hygienist will deliver a wide variety of dental services by performing preventive and therapeutic treatment procedures and by instructing individuals in oral self-care techniques. Works under the supervision of a licensed dentist in accordance with Article 133 of the Education Law.

Job Summary
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and coordination of patient care services. Through direct supervision and coordination, the Nursing Supervisor will ensure safe and therapeutic care is provided to the patients of Visiting Nurse Association of Utica and Oneida County (VNA) in compliance with New York State (NYS) Department of Health (DOH) licensure guidelines, the Nurse Practice Act, agency policies and procedures, and industry established best practices. The Nursing Supervisor provides direct supervision to the clinical staff providing care in the home.
Core Job Responsibilities- Coordinates referrals of new patients and the assignment of personnel to each case.
- Maintains staffing schedule to assure 24 hour per day, seven days per week coverage for patient care needs.
