• The Grounds Attendants are responsible for upkeep and cleaning of outdoor public areas in Camp Wilderness.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of public restrooms facilities. Components include (but not limited to) sinks, toilets, urinals, showers, counters, floors, windows, and walls.
• Responsible for daily cleaning of charcoal grills, as well as proper disposal of coal and ash.
• Responsible for picking up and disposing trash, foliage, pet waste, and other litter throughout the facility.
• Responsible for daily changing and replacement of trash cans throughout assigned property and operates trash compactor.
• Ensures guest walkways and sidewalks are clear of debris, foliage, mulch, and dirt.
• Ensures the overall cleanliness of guest coin operated laundry facilities as well as washer and dryer equipment.
• Responsible for cleaning and de-cobwebing of wayfinding signs, fences/gates, and building structures.
• Responsible for upkeep and overall functionality of storage rooms and closets.

The Houseman requires an approachable, friendly and polished demeanor with a guest focus mindset. As Houseman you will create a warm & welcome atmosphere throughout the hotel by maintaining clean and safe public spaces and delivering guest request. You will support the Housekeeping and Laundry Team and stay in good with all other departments to ensure the guest are well cared for and have a memorable stay experience while visiting the Carolinas!

• Previous hotel experience preferred, housekeeping or janitorial experience a plus

This role supervises associates in the park daily, assists with training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, and supporting teams on location. As an Entertainment leader, you will work to ensure departmental goals and objectives are communicated and implemented by personnel under your supervision. Positions vary on parkwide Entertainment operations and programming ranging from working with the Character Program, Special Event/Festival programming, Technical/Production team, Costumes/Cosmetology team, or even in a Stage Management capacity with the Shows team. As a leader, your ability to lead a team, communication skills, positive attitude, and attention to detail assist us in delivering an excellent guest entertainment experience daily.

The Carowinds Merchandise Department focuses on offering a great shopping experience and we thrive on teaching Merchandising skill with setting up displays that everyone can enjoy and shop from. As part of the team, you'll create special memories for guests when you help find the perfect memento of their visit! You'll also:

• Demonstrate and sell merchandise to guests utilizing knowledge of products. 
• Conduct sales transactions on POS (point of sales) system.
• Display merchandise and suggest products to guests emphasizing key selling points or sales promotions.
