Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security & Loss Prevention Specialist to help protect company assets, maintain facility security, and support safe daily operations. This role works closely with operations and leadership teams to minimize loss related to theft, vandalism, and security violations.
The ideal candidate is observant, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality while working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with third-party security personnel and vendors
- Monitor personnel and visitor access points
- Complete daily security checklists and incident reports
- Communicate visitor guidelines, waivers, and facility policies
- Conduct routine security walk-throughs of the facility
- Verify dock doors and access points are secured at the end of shifts
- Perform spot checks on containers and outbound materials when required
- Monitor work areas for unauthorized materials or restricted devices
- Inspect outbound packages for proper labels and accuracy
- Report security concerns or policy violations to management
- Ensure visitors sign in and wear assigned badges
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report equipment issues
- Monitor docks, emergency exits, and restricted areas for unauthorized access

- Lead the development of the reporting systems for project controls assignments
- Perform complex aspects of individual scheduling, change documentation and cost control while reporting up to program or portfolio level as well as trains and teaches other members of PC organization with minimal oversight and wide latitude for unreviewed work
