Assists physicians as scrub/circulator for Interventional Radiology procedures including, but not limited to, arteriograms for cerebral, renal, mesenteric, pelvic and extremity circulation (possible angioplasty/stent placement/thrombolytic therapy/embolization), percutaneous gastrostomy tube procedures, percutaneous nephrostomy and urologic stenting procedures, venous access procedures, venography of the extremities, inferior and superior vena cava (possible angioplasty/stent placement/filter placement/thrombolytic therapy), percutaneous cholangiogram (possible balloon dilation/stent placement/drainage catheter placement/stone extraction), transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt, endovascular repair of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms and is willing to adapt to new technologies and protocols.

IR Techs use fluoroscopy (essentially real-time X-ray), specialized wires, stents and other tools to visualize the patient's condition in real time and also change what they see
What you will do:
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the radiographic / digital imaging equipment and table positioning as appropriate for safe patient care.
- Demonstrates ability to acquire images and send images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Demonstrates ability to communicate verbally and in written form (e.g. sticky notes) clearly and effectively with other members of the team.
- Transports patients to and from procedural area, admitting and recovery area, and other areas within the hospital as needed.
- Assists with patient transfer to and from procedure table and stretcher.
- Establishes and maintains ongoing communication with the physician operator throughout procedures to facilitate patient safety, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Demonstrates willingness to learn new procedures and coordinates in-service/education for other associates, as needed.
- Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician. Recognizes signs of a contrast reaction and responds appropriately with corrective action.
- Systematically reviews history and physical, lab values, prior imaging, and correlates invasive procedure protocol with patient’s physiological status. Communicates findings to physician operator and fellow team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Diagnostic Radiology program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when participating in the on-call rotation.
- Florida Licensed Radiologic Technologist, Radiography credentialing thru American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (ARRT).

Responsibilities
- Maintain Customer relations with all existing and future clients.

- Verify that all quality control standards have been met and vehicle has been washed before contacting customer.
- Follow up with all aging repair orders and provide daily explanation to Service Manager for any repair order open longer than 4 days.
- Maintain a customer satisfaction inquiry score above national average.
- Capture valid customer emails and maintain a CSI email capture rate higher than the national standard.
- Maintain a follow up system for special ordered parts or vehicles that will need additional future repairs.
- Maintain a clean orderly office that is acceptable in accordance with dealership’s standards.
- Maintain all common customer areas and assure that all amenities are stocked and in proper working order. Report any major janitorial issues that cannot be quickly cleaned up or require special service.

The candidate must have excellent communication and writing skills to complete internal audits, write technical reports including Standard Operating Procedures and conduct detection limit studies using approved methods. The position is required to assist field personnel in sampling events when necessary. Experienced working under a NELAP certified laboratory as an analyst is highly desirable. Duties and Responsibilities
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the job as necessary.

Prepares organics glassware for sample extraction per Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) protocols.
Assists with data entry and Quality control (QC) checking for the laboratory. Monitors temperatures for laboratory sample refrigerators for QC purposes.
Receives laboratory samples and enters them into the LIMS.
Assists with test designing for various laboratory methods in the LIMS and fixing errors which occur in test methods.
Assists field personnel in sampling events when necessary.
Assists field inspectors with sampling kits, sampling methods, and associated submission paperwork.

Minimum of one year experience required. Verification of course completion in accordance with all American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider guidelines is required. BSN highly preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Current license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas to practice as a registered nurse is required. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.

Counsels and assists patients and their families with personal and environmental difficulties which predispose illness or hinder the patient from receiving maximum benefits from medical care.
Acts as a therapeutic agent as a member of multi-disciplinary health and mental health teams.
Master's degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education is required.
One year's post master's degree experience in a health care setting is preferred.
Current state licensure from the Texas Department of Human Services is required.

Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Ambulatory setting in accordance with UH policies and standards.
Supports and promotes University Health values to ensure patient/guest relations.
Performs the nursing process in a safe therapeutic manner in a designated clinic setting.
Maintains, facilitates and promotes department policies and standards.
At least one year experience in direct patient care is preferred.
Current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card required.
ACLS certification may be required based on site location.
Various certifications may be required based on location site.
Must possess a current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of Texas.
