As an Intake Attorney at Thompson Law LLP, you will play a pivotal role in our client acquisition process. Your primary responsibility will be to assist and guide our intake team in evaluating new clients, providing legal counsel, and ensuring a seamless transition for clients into our firm's services. The role demands a deep understanding of personal injury law and excellent client service skills to effectively assess and address potential clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal expertise and guidance to the intake team during the initial client consultation phase
- Analyze potential personal injury cases to determine their viability and alignment with the firm's standards
- Offer legal counsel to the intake team regarding the complexities and potential strategies for new cases
- Ensure a high standard of client service and care during the intake process
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline the client onboarding process
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law and practice.
- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Confirmation to practice law in the State of Texas
- A minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years specifically in personal injury law
- Proven track record of working effectively within a legal team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
- Experience in a client-facing role within a legal setting
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
