  • Assesses the acceptability and marketability of collateral to ensure the property adequately secures the loan.
  • Utilizes diverse resources—such as International Building Code standards, local zoning and building contacts, tax records, real estate databases, member-provided documentation, and title reports—to support sound underwriting decisions while maintaining a positive member experience.
  • Makes informed decisions regarding investment risk based on established, investor, and regulatory guidelines; escalates recommendations for denial or exceptions when properties do not meet required standards.
  • Communicates professionally, proactively, and confidently with appraisers, appraisal vendors, and internal business partners.
