Overview:
We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams + Separation Health Assessments across the country. Assignment Details:
* Duration: PRN basis, ongoing
* Specialties Accepted: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or anyone with a background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension
* Coverage Options: Two options available - Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice
* Shift Options: Half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours)
* Exam Type: One-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
* Exam Format: Primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing
* Prescribing/Treatment: No prescribing or treatment involved
* Credentialing: Quick credentialing & onboarding process
* Certification: DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
* Equipment: Use of Goniometer required
* Expertise Required: Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions. Proficiency in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.

Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- CPR certification.

General Medicine physician needed for a locum practice in Kansas ASAP
- ongoing Block-time availability is preferred but willing to accept providers with sporadic availability
- will be on an as-needed basis.
Willing to accept these specialties: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc, or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.
