Minimum education and experience required:Bachelorβs degree or the equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 5 years of post-bachelorβs, progressively responsible experience in advanced automation control systems or related experience; OR Masterβs degree or the equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in advanced automation control systems or related experience.
Skills required:Must have experience with: Siemens, Rockwell; Siemens Step7; Siemens CFC; Hot Rolling Mill (Metals Industry); Cold Rolling Mill (Metals Industry); Processing Line (Metals Industry); Programmable Logic Controllers.

Completes complex material specification, schematic preparation and appropriate follow-up.
Makes recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
Performs complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.

Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently.

Travel required approximately 60% to various client sites throughout the US.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelorβs degree or the equivalent in Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in drive engineering and commissioning in metals industry environment or related experience; OR Masterβs degree or the equivalent in Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in drive engineering and commissioning in metals industry environment or related experience Skills Required: Must have experience with: Drive Engineering with state-of-the-art Variable Frequency Drives like Siemens S120 Drives, Siemens 6RA80 Drives, ABB ACS 880 Drives, ABB DCS 880 Drives or similar; Drive Commissioning with state-of-the-art Variable Frequency Drives like Siemens S120 Drives, Siemens 6RA80 Drives, ABB ACS 880 Drives, ABB DCS 880 Drives or similar; Creating and analyzing electrical schematics for Variable Frequency Drives and checking for correctness; Experience with Drive Engineering and Commissioning in the Metals Industry (especially Steel and Aluminum); Understanding of Physics regarding Variable Frequency Drives and Motors (especially Induction motors, DC-Motors and/or Synchronous Motors); Engineering and Commissioning of medium voltage Variable Frequency Drives.
