✦ New
Salary not disclosed
Newnan, Georgia 1 day ago

We're looking for a trial-ready lawyer who takes the job seriously, but not themselves. Currently our office is comprised of five criminal defense attorneys. We are seeking a sixth lawyer for the team, however, this lawyer will be responsible for our growing case load in the West Georgia Circuit and surrounding areas.

Over the years a number of people have applied to work with us. If you have applied before, do not be discouraged from applying again. Good defense lawyers would never quit after the first try anyway.

We cuss, we laugh, we fight, and we are proud of our work. Come join us.

What You Will Do:

If you take this job.

  • You'll handle a caseload of 120-150 cases in Carroll County and surrounding areas.

  • You'll work directly with client-retained investigators and expert witnesses.
  • You'll get to enjoy practicing law — without the chaos and micromanagement. Our team of dedicated staff will schedule all meetings for you, all calls for you, handle all of your filings, all of your conflict letters and all of your leaves of absences. Your job is to be a zealous advocate for your clients. Leave the administrative work to administrators.
  • All you need to do is communicate with clients, communicate with your team, review discovery, prepare for trial, and go to court. What every lawyer should be doing

What you Will Not Do:

  • Work without support
  • Be assigned conflict cases
  • Bear any expectations of generating new business

  • Health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
  • CLE & bar dues paid
  • Flexibility with a hybrid schedule
  • Support from a Client Success Manager

What we Need:

  • A lawyer who takes responsibility for their work.
