ICU Critical Care Locum Opportunity ??? Level II Trauma Center We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Physician to provide high-quality inpatient care in a robust, 18-bed closed ICU.
This role is perfect for a physician who enjoys a collaborative teaching environment, as you will work closely with residents across Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Emergency Medicine.
You will manage a diverse patient population, including cardiac, neuro, trauma, medical, and surgical cases.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Management: Lead the care for an average census of 18 ICU patients.
Procedures: Perform essential critical care interventions, including: Ventilation: ETT, NT, Tracheostomy, BiPAP, and CPAP management.
Lines/Drainage: Central and arterial lines, PA catheter insertion, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and lumbar puncture.
Supervision: Provide mentorship and oversight to resident physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
Documentation: Utilize Epic for all charting and clinical reporting.
Schedule & Continuity Frequency: 1???2 weekends per month (flexible based on availability).
Night Flow: Friday 5 PM ??? Saturday 5 AM and Saturday 5 PM ??? Sunday 5 AM.
Support: Call duties are well-supported by on-site APCs and residents.
Qualifications Board Status: BC/BE in Critical Care (Pulmonary Critical Care preferred).

MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
- Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Flex Houseparents eventually transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they live and work with the same group of students in their own student home.
