Job Title: Application Support Specialist

Position Type: Temporary / Contract


Overview:

Reporting to the Enterprise Applications Manager, the Temporary Application Access Support Specialist is responsible for managing user access across various enterprise systems. This role ensures that employees, contractors, and vendors are granted appropriate system access in a timely, accurate, and secure manner, and that access is promptly revoked when no longer needed. All responsibilities are performed in alignment with company policies, security standards, and established procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

The following outlines the primary duties of the role but is not intended to be all-inclusive:

  • Process user onboarding and offboarding requests across multiple systems, including account setup, role assignments, access modifications, and deactivations.
  • Perform password resets and update user access in accordance with defined procedures and approval protocols.
  • Ensure all access requests are completed accurately and within established service level expectations.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all actions for audit, compliance, and tracking purposes.
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders regarding request status, access issues, and resolution timelines.
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies, incomplete requests, or potential security risks as needed.
  • Adhere to established security and access control standards to safeguard systems and sensitive data.
  • Collaborate with system owners or internal teams when handling non-standard or complex access requests.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues, inefficiencies, or documentation gaps.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned in support of the broader team.


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in application support, user access administration, IT support, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow documented procedures accurately.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic familiarity with enterprise systems (such as ERP, financial, or operational platforms) is a plus.
  • YARDI experience preferred
