This correctional facility provides comprehensive healthcare services combining primary care and urgent care capabilities for the adult population in a secure environment. The facility maintains dedicated medical support staff including nurses, paramedics, and EMTs to ensure efficient patient care coordination and operates with standard clinic procedures during regular business hours.

The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive family medicine services combining primary care and urgent care in a correctional facility environment, managing adult patients with diverse healthcare needs. This position requires expertise in both chronic disease management and urgent care procedures, as the clinician will manage 10-15 patients daily while working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call requirements. The nurse practitioner must be comfortable treating a wide range of conditions from routine primary care to acute urgent care situations, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with nurses, paramedics, and EMTs to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the specialized correctional healthcare delivery framework.
