Part-time 5 hour shift of rounding 8am to 1pm, Monday through Friday plus one weekend per month from 8am to 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Rounding will be less on weekends but the locums doctor will be there through 1pm to do any new admissions or discharges.
Call schedule for nights after 5pm for weekdays and weekends is shared 1 in 3 for a week at a time.
May get called like 2-3 times per week when on night call.
Call is for phone consults only, no call backs at all.
Client will get one of their own doctors to take call between 1pm and 5pm each day.
Client has a preference for candidates who are local to the area and either geriatric psychiatry board certified or a board certified adult psychiatrist with geriatric psychiatry experience.

Client has an electronic health record, so candidates must be computer literate.
Takes approximately 3 to 3.5 months for hospital credentialing/privileging.

About the Role

In this role, you will collaborate with our clinical staff to support the treatment and growth of adolescents in our care. You will play a key role in supervising clients, facilitating clinical activities, and helping shape a constructive therapeutic community.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and supervision to clients while maintaining the structure of the facility.
- Conduct one-to-one counseling sessions and support clients with individual challenges.
- Monitor, record, and communicate client progress; identify when additional services may be needed.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups, workshops, social/recreational activities, and outings.
- Utilize appropriate interventions, including de-escalation and crisis response strategies.
- Establish positive and professional relationships with adolescents while maintaining healthy boundaries.
- Prepare clinical documentation and communicate findings with the clinical team in a timely manner.
- Support clients in self-administering medication in accordance with policies.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, monthly drills, and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or higher education required.
- Counselor Certification preferred but not required.
- Experience working with high-risk adolescents and families strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Valid California driverβs license required.
- Must meet federal, state, and local background clearance requirements.
- If in recovery, at least one year of sobriety/clean time is required.

1. Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result;
2. Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens;
3. Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures (see department SOPs).
4. Review and release test results.
5. Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines.
6. Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and all maintenance performed;
7. Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance.
8. Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results, correct the problems encountered or immediately notify the senior technologist or supervisor.
9. Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications.
10. Follow department's procedure in reporting STATS or Critical results to clients.
11. If applicable, answer questions from customers or other lab personnel.
12. Maintain complete records of all testing performed on-site.
13. Maintain general appearance of the department.
14. Make sure reagents/test kits have received dates, expiration dates, and if applicable opened dates. 15. Review/train on new procedures.

We are searching for a bright and diligent Medical Receptionist to join our clientβs office.
Pay: 22 per hour Status: Temp to Hire Location: Thousand Oaks.
This is a traditional Medical Receptionist position.
You will be responsible for greeting guests as they come in for their appointments, getting new appointments scheduled in, and ensuring that everyone completes the paperwork prior to seeing the doctor.
You will also: Β· Verify patient demographics and insurance information Β· Conduct follow-up on appointments and try to get referrals.
Β· Answer a multi-line phone system, and route calls when needed.
Β· Collect co-pays, balance, and help process payments.\ Β· Maintain the patient charts and ensure compliance with HIPAA.
