Position: Blaster
Location: Neville Island Equipment and Assembly facility - Pittsburgh, PA

$24.38 to start with a wage step progression plan

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor or Group Leader, the Blaster will perform tasks as necessary in the fabrication and maintenance of Calgon Carbon Corporation products and equipment. The worker will perform all assigned duties in compliance with all company and safety policies and procedures.   

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Abrasive blasts interior and exterior of tanks and piping systems to achieve the specified SSPC surface cleanliness and surface profile
• Assists sprayers as required
• Inspects interior and exterior lining and coating systems on purchased and produced equipment
• Coatings include but are not limited to:Plasite4110, 4006,Ceilcote242, epoxy, polyurethane-based coatings
• Prepares equipment for painting and coating by cleaning, solvent wiping, taping and papering prior to painting
• Mixes paint and linings in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
• Visually inspects own work for defects and noncompliance to specifications and makes necessary repairs
• Inspections will include both surface preparation and finished coatings
• Surface preparation verification in accordance with SSPC for cleanliness and surface profile
• Coating inspection will include dry film thickness gage use, holiday or spark testing
• Complete inspection result documentation.
• Ambient condition monitoring and reporting
• Wet bulb and dry bulb temperature, relative humidity and surface temperature to ensure application requirement compliance
• Operate fork trucks and overhead cranes while moving equipment in and out of paint booth 
• Assist in other areas with various tasks as required.
• Comply with company policies

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a 3 shift rotation
• Less than high school education is required  
• 0-2 years general labor experience is required
• Sand blasting experience is preferred

Position: Field Service Representative I 
Location: US – Remote (Pittsburgh, PA)

The Field Service Representative I is the direct implementation of customer required on-site field services related to CCC activated carbon product, equipment, and service offerings. The Field Service Representative I is part of CCC’s customer support and service value proposition by contractual obligation.

 
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Scheduling and documentation of daily on-site activities using FSWO database and work process
• Carbon adsorption equipment start-up and customer training on proper use through O&M manual and work process
• Carbon and other media removal and installation
• Carbon adsorption equipment installation and removal
• Carbon adsorption equipment maintenance, inspectionrepairand troubleshooting
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
• Confined Space Certification (Candidate must successfully complete training within 3monthof hire data) is required
• Driver's License (Class A preferrable) is required
• HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification (Candidate must successfully complete training within 3monthof hire data) is required
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (Candidate must successfully obtain within 3monthof hire data) is required
• 2-3 years of mechanical aptitude and an understanding of mechanical systems; hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving/repairing technical and mechanical issues is required
• Experience in the carbon treatment industry or a related field is preferred

The Sales Auditor supports the daily operations of the Sales Audit function by ensuring store sales activity is accurately captured, reconciled, and documented. This freelance position focuses on detailed review of sales data, timely issue resolution, and consistent administrative support to help maintain the integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate, reconcile, and document store sales information using system-generated reports, bank deposit data, and supporting documentation from store locations.
• Review daily transaction activity to confirm sales and deposits balance and identify irregularities such as missing, duplicate, or rejected transactions.
• Partner with store cash office personnel to research, resolve, and document discrepancies within established timelines and procedures.
• Perform routine data entry and record maintenance in support of sales audit processes.
• Enter adjustments, update transaction records, and organize supporting documentation while maintaining accessible electronic and/or physical files in compliance with internal control requirements.
• Support preparation of weekly and monthly audit outputs by ensuring assigned tasks, reconciliations, and follow-ups are completed on schedule.
• Assist with chargeback-related activities by gathering documentation, tracking responses, and supporting timely and accurate replies.
• Provide general administrative support to the Sales Audit team, helping coordinate daily workflow and support departmental deadlines.
