Job Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant ?Virtual Urgent Care

Location: Remote/DFW metroplex

PositionDetails:

• CHRISTUS Health is seeking a board certified and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Virtual Urgent Care team. This role serves new and existing CHRISTUS patients and CHRISTUS associates delivering high-quality, convenient, compassionate care in a virtual setting. You?ll work within a physician-led care team using a queue-based system and Epic EMR. This position is PRN with a minimum expectation per month. Close proximity to Irving, TX required for this position. There will be intermittent PTO coverage at our Employee Clinic at the system office in Irving.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and treating patients via telehealth visits, including triage, video visit appointments, and follow-ups as appropriate

• Utilize Epic for all documentation and charting

• Work within a queue-based system, typically seeing 3?4 patients perhour

• Work autonomously and collaborate with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles and monthly team meetings

• Deliver care in alignment with CHRISTUS Health protocols and standards

• Open365 days a year,7am-11pm; various shifts available.
