Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an ER Holding (Oncology Pod) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, Epic proficiency, and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital-based Emergency Department Holding unit within an Oncology Pod
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week (19:00–07:30)
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Floating is required
- Epic EMR experience is required
Requirements
- Active OH or Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency in IV starts required
- Telemetry monitoring experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
Additional Information
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
- Up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility's discretion for the duration of the contract
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility through another agency are not required to take a 30-day break between assignments before being represented by a new agency (exception: Sterile Processing Techs still require a 30-day break)
