The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. This role encompasses assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, operating life-support equipment, administering advanced treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. The position requires strong critical care skills, advanced clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics in high-acuity settings.
Essential Work Functions:- Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition
- Administer complex medications and treatments in accordance with approved critical care nursing techniques
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments, addressing physical and emotional needs
- Record significant conditions, reactions, and interventions, notifying the appropriate provider of changes in patient status
- Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters
- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
- Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients and reduce risks

What You’ll Do
- Administer medications, as prescribed, and under the direction of a licensed nurse
- Promptly report to the nurse, a resident’s request/need for PRN medications.
- Promptly report to the nurse any adverse or concerning reactions to medications.
- Provide exceptional Personal service and daily care to residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff management and families.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
- Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.

What You'll Do:
The Training Specialist – Affordable Housing Operations plays a vital role in developing and delivering training to Wallick’s Affordable Housing associates. This role creates authentic, engaging learning experiences that build practical skills and change on-the-job behaviors by creating and delivering training in a variety of formats - including in-person, virtual, and computer-based training sessions. This position collaborates with operations leaders and subject matter experts to ensure that training solutions are aligned with business goals, operational realities, and associate development needs.
Qualifications Required:
- 4+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or associate development, preferably in property management, maintenance services, or customer-facing operations.
- Experience creating and delivering training across diverse modalities (classroom, virtual, and self-paced).
- Knowledge of affordable housing operations, maintenance practices, leasing, or compliance is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), SharePoint, and tools like Captivate or Camtasia is a plus.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills; comfortable training in both group and 1:1 settings.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and training rollouts simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt training approaches to meet the unique needs of our AHO associates.

What You’ll Do
- Conducts scope reviews for feasibility and attends design phase site inspections.
- Prepares conceptual, preliminary, and final project budgets.

- Prepare monthly pay applications and submit requests for owner change orders and all associated documentation.
- Monitors budgets, revenue, profit, and cash flow.
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Oversees project closeout process and warranty compliance.

- Keep all kitchen equipment and prep/serving areas clean and organized.
- Plan and follow a cooking schedule to ensure meals are ready on time.
- Maintain food quality and safety by regularly checking temperatures and tasting dishes.
- Set up food on steam tables and restock as needed during service.
- Follow portion control guidelines during meal prep and serving.
- Check and properly use leftover perishables from the fridge and freezer to minimize waste.
- Jump in and help with other kitchen duties as needed.
- 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant or institutional kitchen setting.
- Strong communication skills — comfortable interacting with coworkers, residents, and family members.
- Ability to respond professionally to questions or concerns from both inside and outside the organization.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Solid math skills to handle measurements, portioning, and basic calculations.
- Able to make routine decisions that support the day-to-day needs of the department.

What You’ll Do
- Responsible for management of day-to-day operations of the kitchen to include staffing, training, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Oversight and supervision of all kitchen staff and servers for day to day and long-term operations to include hiring, training, and developing associates.
- Responsible for ensuring menu quality, consistency and creativity are at the highest level while maximizing resources.
- Oversee all production of food.
- Maintain visibility to customers, soliciting/requesting feedback on food quality and responds to guest concerns appropriately and professionally to resolve any issues.
- Assure that adequate supplies are maintained.
- Maintain kitchen equipment.
- Maintains Kitchen, Walk Ins, Dry Storage to acceptable sanitation requirements.
- Maintain control of the yearly budget for payroll for the Food Service Department.
- Staying current on industry trends and techniques.
- Review and approval of all Food Service invoices for accuracy.
- Maintain and use approved vendors for services and supplies.
- Assist with development and implementation of culinary standards, guidelines, and procedures company wide.
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding all State and company sanitation requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- 3 or more years of culinary leadership experience in independent or assisted living is desirable or 3 or more years’ experience as a culinary leader with growing responsibility.
- Must meet State Board of Health requirements.
- Must understand safety procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with all levels of co-workers, residents, family members and business partners. Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports.
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources.
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office.
- Effective in making complex decisions requiring a high degree of judgment.
- Knowledge of all phases of food administration, cost control and familiarity of all food service required.
- Ability to understand and analyze Budget & P&L Statements.
- Proven leadership and critical thinking skills required.
- Must possess excellent customer service and employee relations skills.
