Position Overview


The Director of Client Relations & Marketing plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional client experience while supporting strategic marketing efforts for firm growth. This position is responsible for nurturing client relationships, coordinating meaningful touchpoints, leading client-focused events and supporting targeted outreach initiatives.


This is a hands-on role within a small, collaborative, values-driven firm where initiative, leadership and follow-through are essential. The position offers long-term growth potential as the firm continues to expand its client base and community presence.


Key Responsibilities


Client Experience & Relationship Management

  • Proactively engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and alignment with service strategies
  • Coordinate and delegate client service requests and appointments in collaboration with the team
  • Deliver a high-touch client experience through personalized milestones such as birthday greetings, anniversaries and special recognitions

Marketing & Growth Initiatives

  • Develop, plan, and lead client appreciation and educational events
  • Execute targeted marketing initiatives to support new client growth
  • Attend local networking, community and client-related events on a regular basis
  • Analyze historical and forward-looking marketing and growth metrics
  • Coordinate with local organizations to establish, schedule and maintain ongoing speaking engagement opportunities

Team & Program Leadership

  • Recruit, schedule and mentor Texas A&M student interns
  • Support firm leadership with strategic planning and execution
  • Report directly to the Owner/President of the firm

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preference for Business, Communications, Marketing or related fields
  • Β (Texas A&M University or affiliated institutions strongly preferred)
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in client services, relationship management, marketing or office administration
  • Β (Financial services experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM or financial software experience preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach
  • Demonstrated professionalism and discretion when working with confidential client information
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a small, values-driven team
