MENTAL HEALTH CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (LPCMH, LCSW) POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mental Health Clinical Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the provision of quality mental health services to patients and addressing their psychological needs. This position involves overseeing and guiding mental health professionals who provide direct care to incarcerated individuals. The Mental Health Clinical Supervisor will be involved in working with all disciplines on the Behavioral Health Unit to attain effectiveness in serving the patient population.
MENTAL HEALTH CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (LPCMH, LCSW) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Acts as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment programs and problem resolution as needed.
- Coordinates development and revision of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment and provision of required clinical services for inmates.
- Supervises the planning, development and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
- Provides clinical supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services.
- Monitors efforts of Mental Health Services to ensure clinical services are being provided in a timely, professional manner.
- Ensures treatment programs contracted are integrated and appropriately staffed.
- Provides administrative support to psychiatric staff. Assists coordinators in recruitment and selection of clinical staff.
- Coordinates facility behavioral health Quality Improvement Program.
MENTAL HEALTH CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (LPCMH, LCSW) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a Licensed, Masterβs Level Behavioral Health Clinician who can assess and make treatment decisions and provide Mental Health treatment.
- 2 years experience supervising a mental health team required.
- Must have one of the following licenses: LPCMH, LCSW, or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Mental Health Clinician.

Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the critical digitalization of agency records
- Scanning hard copy records into digital records
- Receive, process, inventory, maintain records consistent with all agency and NARA standards and procedures
- Collaborate with the Records Manager in the oversight and maintenance of the Records Retention Schedule and related policy and procedures
- Provided briefings to personnel as to records retention, storage, security, and disposal
- Support the Records Manager in all aspects of records, forms, and publications
- Create forms utilizing Adobe Acrobat, which may require coding within form
Qualifications:
- Experience with MS Office, Adobe PDF, and some scripting language
- Active Secret security clearance

GROUP INTERVENTION SPECIALIST POSITION SUMMARY:
To perform the duties of a Group Intervention Specialist, you must have a good understanding of Behavioral Health. You will also possess the ability to do basic documentation and programming. Also, you must possess good decision-making skills, emotional intelligence, be a team player, and respect confidentiality. The Group Intervention Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the behavioral, emotional, and social development of individuals in a correctional facility by facilitating evidence-based group programs. This position is responsible for delivering structured group interventions that promote rehabilitation, reduce recidivism, and support the development of pro-social skills. The specialist works closely with mental health and correctional staff to provide a safe and therapeutic environment.
GROUP INTERVENTION SPECIALIST MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelorβs degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Experience in Behavioral Health, Social Services, or Psych
- Two (2) years of experiencein therapeutic recreation or related field providing programming for persons who have a mental illness is preferred.
- Experience working in a correctional mental health setting preferred.
GROUP INTERVENTION SPECIALIST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Works under clinical supervision and requires knowledge of behavioral healthcare programs and program techniques
- As a Group Intervention Specialist, you will work with a variety of clients that include those with mental health diagnoses, substance use disorder, criminogenic thinking, etc. through a variety of programs
- Notify Behavioral Health Director/Clinical Supervisor in a timely manner of problems requiring attention/intervention
- Work with individuals in group settings to provide counseling, guidance and education
- Work closely with co-facilitator to discuss the subject matter with individuals
- Conduct clinical interventions as prescribed on the individual treatment plan using clinical intervention strategies within your scope of practice and directed by supervision
- Provide psychosocial group interventions as prescribed on the individual treatment plan
- Consults with other institution staff regarding the behavioral health caseload, inmateβs institutional adjustment and service needs
- Attends meetings as assigned
- Attends in-service training sessions and workshops for professional development
- Shall include evening and weekend coverage as scheduled
- Other duties, as assigned
