Position Summary:
The Salesforce Product Owner will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and optimization of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Salesforce ecosystem to support fundraising, community member engagement, marketing, and operations. The Product Owner will balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a highly-collaborative, mission-driven nonprofit environment.The Product Owner will partner with business leaders, technology teams, and end users to translate organizational goals into scalable Salesforce solutions, drive employee adoption, ensure data integrity, and continuously improve platform performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Vision and Strategy:
Own and maintain the Salesforce product roadmap in close collaboration with leadership, technology, functional leads, and end-users.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, including enhancements, technical debt, defects, and platform maintenance to deliver key milestones on the roadmap.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, programs, finance, operations) to capture and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
Facilitate discovery sessions, document requirements, and define user stories and acceptance criteria.
Act as a trusted advisor to the Steering Committee and workstream leads on Salesforce capabilities and best practices.
Platform and Release Management:
Oversee Salesforce releases, enhancements, integrations, and upgrades, mitigating roadblocks and supporting solutioning to ensure smooth implementation.
Lead and facilitate user adoption training (UAT) and regression testing in partnership with business owners.
Ensure stable deployments with minimal disruptions to users and business operations.
User Adoption, Training and Change Management:
Serve as a Salesforce champion, promoting employee adoption and supporting education on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure the creation and maintenance of training materials, documentation, and user communications for end-users and back-office staff.
Data, Governance, and Reporting:
Develop and optimize Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance metrics, empowering stakeholders to make informed data-driven decisions that support the Foundation's strategic goals.
Partner with data and technology teams to support data integrity, security, privacy, and compliance.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define and reinforce data governance standards and best practices.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
Drive adoption and continuous improvement through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Monitor system performance, user feedback, and adoption metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends, recommending enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
10+ years of experience in Salesforce, CRM, or enterprise system roles (e.g., Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Salesforce Manager).
3+ years of experience owning or leading a Salesforce platform, product, or major functional area.
Demonstrated experience with:
Salesforce product ownership or platform management
Backlog management and roadmap planning
Cross-functional stakeholder engagement
System releases and change management
Data governance
Strong experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile experience.
Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Product Owner, or related).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

In Texas, there is a judicial process for validating the Gestational Contract (the contract between the intended parents and the surrogate). Included within the various requirements for having a Gestational Contract validated by a Texas court is that the intended parents must be married and the surrogate must have previously carried a child to term. - General Responsibilities
- Facilitate on the job training and instruction for team members on the correct use of tools and equipment to ensure proper safety and operating procedures are followed.
- Management representative responsible for all plant operations on off shifts and weekend operations.
- Approves color matching for presses on scheduled shift, where applicable.
- Strong communication with Department Managers on all process and personnel issues.
- Makes decisions concerning troubleshooting and employee issues.
- Knows, understands, implements, & enforces plant procedures and policies.
- Processes shift reports from production and waste on scheduled shift.
- Analyzes production and improves process where opportunity exists.
- Sign off on Finishing run sheets ensuring correct specs are maintained and schedule is accurate on night shifts.
- Leads teams formed to deal with production, manufacturing and safety issues.
- Daily 5s shift audits.
- Daily production status report
- Ensure Raw Material Rejections have required MFG data to process. Coordinate priorities and efforts of maintenance and the engineers
- Inspecting & sign off on all retains & ensure that good quality product is being produced.
- Cylinder check sheets.
- Adjust crews accordingly to minimize OT but still meet goals.
- OK sheets filled out & check off.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Participates in training, embrace concepts of and actively practice the STOP Safety Program fundamentals to aid American Packaging Corporation's efforts to achieve a zero-accident rate.
- Retrieves all necessary set up information/specifications/guidelines and follows instructions on the job jacket.
- Safely, efficiently and effectively assists with the assigned production machinery equipment monitoring quality, production and waste adhering to all customer specifications.
- Ensures immediate work area and work areas for which Machine Operator has responsibility are free of clutter and debris. Perform all cleaning/sanitation responsibilities, safely using all required cleaning solutions and protective equipment.
- Monitors all quality requirements as outlined by company procedure and specification. Completes necessary sheets for quality checks.
- Actively participates in safety programs and completes required safety observations. Understands and follows plant safety rules.
- Attends and participates in all scheduled meetings (Continuous Quality Improvement, safety, special projects, departmental, etc.).
- Able to work all scheduled shifts and required overtime hours.
- Trains new employees as necessary.

- Analyze trends in production/process data through statistical evaluation methods.
- Determines test objectives and standards by studying software requirements; writing test cycle plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Meets test objectives by determining testing methods, cycles, phases, and conditions; setting up testing environment and equipment.
- Identifies software capability and reliability by conducting functional, system, and performance tests and resolves testing problems.
- Completes tests by training and directing others that will use the system.
- Maintains testing database by developing defect tracking and regression testing information requirements; designing information system; enters test outcomes; secures data.
- Reports test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and displaying data; recommending software changes.
- Maintains test environment by developing test environment; enforcing and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assist Quality Assurance Manager in determining Process Capabilities within the Laboratory and out on the Production Floor.
