About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Engineer to join our Private Market data team. This role focuses on the development, configuration, and maintenance of EDM solutions, specifically leveraging Markit / S&P EDM. The successful candidate will play a key role in building EDM UI components, crafting high-quality SQL transformations, and supporting data ingestion, validation, and publishing workflows across enterprise financial data domains.

- Collaborate with data management teams and business stakeholders to gather and implement data requirements within EDM.
- Ensure EDM solutions is in compliance with data governance, data quality standards, and audit requirements.
- Participate actively in code reviews, documentation efforts, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Hands-on experience with Markit / S&P EDM platform development and configuration.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, views, and stored procedures.

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials, components, and services required for the manufacturing of tape and adhesive products. The ideal candidate has experience in the tape, coatings, or adhesive manufacturing industry and understands key raw materials, including films, release liners, resins, rubber, acrylics, silicones, solvents, packaging materials, and specialty chemicals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies for raw materials, chemicals, packaging, and MRO supplies
- Work with the Manufacturing, Lab, and Product Development teams to source and qualify suppliers for films, adhesives, release liners, coatings, and related materials
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and supply agreements
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead cost-reduction initiatives
- Monitor commodity trends and raw material market fluctuations
Supplier Management
- Evaluate supplier performance for quality, delivery, cost, and service
- Conduct supplier audits and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Resolve supply disruptions and material shortages
Inventory & Production Support
- Collaborate with production planning to ensure timely material availability
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance cost and service
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage incoming materials
Compliance & Quality

Required Qualifications

The machine operator using statistical quality control methods maintains the quality of all components and the timing chain. Changeovers and adjustments are exacting, but not difficult. Work to specifications, schedules, orders, and general instructions of the department group leader or supervisor, as defined in the work standards.

- Perform preventive maintenance inspection before the start of each shift as outlined on the Preventive Maintenance Check Sheet. Apply oil or grease to specified areas. Confirm the operability of all detectors.
- The ability to perform a more comprehensive PM on the machines including but not limited to oil changes.
- Basic troubleshooting of chain assembly equipment to understand the alarm messages, identify what this issue is and how to correct the issue.
- The assembly line consists of the following machines/operations: roller link assembly, chain assembly, riveting, pre-stressing, articulation checking, center distance measuring, automatic cutting, and endless operation, washing, final inspection, and packing.
- Adhere to work standards. Responsible for maintaining production schedules, quality control records, chain assembly records, shipping charge numbers, and the traceability records for each charge of chain and referring any unusual problems to the departmental supervisor.
- Prepare test samples for quality control per work standard. Record production and any other data required utilizing various forms as directed.
- Utilize a machine-monitoring system to record downtime.
- Detect faulty operation or defective material and report these and other unusual conditions to the group leader or supervisor.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow standard safety regulations.
- Perform other similar and associated duties as required or directed.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
- 2-5 Years of experience running multiple machines and performing preventative maintenance.
