Our unit specializes in angina, syncope, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and pre/post cardiac intervention. Cardiac Telemetry Nurses are trained in performing EKG's, interpreting cardiac rhythms, administration of IV cardiac medications, phlebotomy, and certified in ACLS.

MacNeal Hospital's Emergency Department is a Level II Trauma Center with two dedicated trauma resuscitation rooms in our 26-bed Emergency Department. We are Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP). We support an acuity-based staffing model in our fast-paced environment and provide care to a wide range of patients allowing our RN's to grow and gain valuable experience.

What Registered Nurse RN will need:
• A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
• BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour
ADN Pay Range: $32.90 - $57.06 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
