The Boeing Missile & Weapon Systems division is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to oversee the Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) software team in St. Charles, MO (St. Louis Metro Area). This Software Manager will lead multiple software teams in the SDB organization, which produces precision-guided weapon systems used by U.S. and allied forces worldwide.
The SDB Software Manager will lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, manage performance in line with Boeing values and behaviors, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and compliance with industry standards and best practices. The role will implement strategic business plans and policies to align teamwork with organizational goals, drive process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity, and manage resource allocation to support software engineering initiatives.
This proactive manager will collaborate with external suppliers, partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements, maintain clear communication and strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, and stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to guide adoption of relevant innovations. The position will also facilitate regular technical reviews and audits, provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, and ensure that the team’s deliverables consistently meet established standards and practices.

Position Responsibilities:
Manage software engineering team through the software development life cycle.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with peers, business partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
Oversee software architecture, design, and implementation practices to ensure compliance with Software Engineering Design Practices, safety-critical requirements, and Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) inputs.
Participate in program operating rhythm to include Program Increment (PI) Planning, program risk/issue/opportunity (RIO) process, and EVMS activities.
Takes a collaborative approach to develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and develop and maintain roadmaps.
Acquires resources for projects and processes and provides oversight and approval of technical approaches in alignment with organizational strategy.
Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and motivation to combine the team’s energy and expertise to achieve a common objective.
Lead technical planning and execution for software scope, schedule, and cost, including Earned Value Management (EVM) duties and reporting.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years of experience managing or leading teams in a software engineering discipline
3+ years of experience with project management principles
Experience in Agile Software Development
Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science or equivalent experience

What you'll be working on:
GreenDrop supports Savers vision by operating a truck and driving for a route collection program. Drivers are responsible for completing daily moves of trailers within a set geographical area. Daily functions include truck inspections, mapping, picking up and moving large and odd shaped items weighing up to 70 pounds. In addition, this role will require accurate record keeping of route data, driver's log and truck maintenance records. CDL/ Class A required to be considered for this position. 2-3 years' experience driving a tractor trailer truck. 3-5 years clean driving record. Ability to consistently/daily lift up to 70lbs. Ability to push or pull pallet jack and carts on wheels.
Essential Job Functions:
- Safely maneuver and operate a 16'-18' box truck through residential streets and tights spaces
- Complete daily residential routes picking up clothing, small furniture and other household items
- Understand local streets and complete routes and any other assigned stops efficiently
- Understand how to use and follow GPS directions
- Complete all required daily paperwork including vehicle inspection, delivery reports and maintenance forms
- Assist other drivers with workload when needed
- Responsible for ensuring that trucks are clean, swept and ready for use at the start of another shift

Job Summary Builds relationships with Financial Advisors and internal partners.
Develops the skills necessary to successfully underwrite Life, Disability, and/or Long-term Care insurance policies in an inclusive and fast-paced environment ensuring all quality, service and production goals are met.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Field & Client Experience.​Responsible for credible and effective relations and communication with field and customer to include responding to case appeals/inquiries and assists with placing business.Provides guidance and assistance to the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and Financial Representatives regarding case underwriting and risk appraisal.Responsible for prescreen inquiries.
Underwriting Responsible for the analysis and appraisal of a broad range of insurance applications; approves, classifies, or declines applications for various ages and policy amounts with occasional guidance, as needed.​Uses advanced UW knowledge and expertise to provide the appropriate level of underwriting skill and mentoring to UWs​.Uses advanced skills to review applications and adheres to underwriting standards.​Solves complex problems and escalations.Advanced level of experience with NM product types and changesModels change agility while maintaining mortality and morbidity expectations.Demonstrates continuous learning through the early adoption of new ways of underwriting.Proficient with Reinsurance programs and able to determine where to best place a case.Underwrites applications, maintaining industry-leading mortality and morbidity giving the best possible offer that can be made.Provides active case and requirement management and provides customized service with guidance.Demonstrates advanced ability to communicate & negotiate with Field Partners to explain modified or declined decisions & assist in policy placement.Provides advanced financial, medical, and lay underwriting assessments and offers innovative solutions to keep Northwestern Mutual as the choice of our customers.Actively utilizes the most effective means to obtain the necessary information, including Internet searches, direct contact with the insured, and communication with third party advisors (Accountants, Attorneys, etc.)Collaborates with medical directors and technical staff.Responsible for adherence to procedures and regulatory processes​.Understands and meets all quality, service, and production goals​.Partners with Underwriting Support for case management.Cross-Functional leadership.Subject matter expert in product process w/collaboration w/functional partners and participates in projects and department initiatives.Collaborates and designs P3 curriculum with L&D/Tech Team​.
Qualifications A bachelor's degree preferred or demonstrated consistent success in prior Underwriting role as evidence by satisfactory case management and quality review.Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience.Analytical skills with an established record to make independent decisions on complex cases and apply sound judgment in the application of rules.Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information, exercise tact, diplomacy, and resourcefulness.Proficient in computer skills and using various software packages.Ability to work accurately while maintaining speed and flexibility in a team and independent production environment.A high degree of organization and the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.Demonstrated strong leadership skills and a high degree of self-motivation and initiative to lead projects or committees.Displays agility to manage multiple tasks​ and adapt in a changing work environment.

** What You'll Do Make fair, accurate, timely and quality claims decisions on life insurance claims up to allowable signature limit.
May work on cases exceeding this limit with prior approval and second signatures.
Examines claim information obtained, including, but not limited to, beneficiary data, policy values, and policy status; and analyzes information received during the claim review process, including but not limited to, death certificates, claim forms, assignment forms, divorce decree, estate, and trust documentation.
With empathy, deliver personalized experience for beneficiaries and field members by assisting with educating on settlement options available, which varies by policy type.
Communicate verbally and construct letters and emails to beneficiaries, field members, and third parties in response to inquiries and/or regarding outstanding requirements, claim status updates, and claims decisions as part of the overall claim handling process.
Manage phone and transactional responsibilities while adhering to strict confidentiality and privacy standards.
Research and evaluate solutions to situations that arise and resolve concerns on an “as-needed†basis which oftentimes includes deviating from procedures.
Maintain organization, accuracy, and timeliness in individual case management system; capture and document claim related information accurately and/or refer tasks as appropriate.
Maintain production and claims quality standards.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the ambulatory setting in accordance with UH policies and standards. Supports and promotes University Health values to ensure patient/guest relations. Performs the nursing process in a safe therapeutic manner in a designated clinic setting. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing is required. Starting pay varies based on experience; entry up to 2 years, 2–3 years and 4 years or more experience in health care delivery as an LVN. PALS and ACLS certification may be required based on site location.
LICENSURE
Must possess a current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of Texas. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
