The Product Manager Mobile owns defines the strategy, roadmap, and feature sets for the Family Dollar Mobile Applications, acting as the intersection between business, user experience, and technology. The Product Manager will be heavily engaged in the entire product lifecycle—from conception to launch and beyond—by collaborating with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver value. Key responsibilities include identifying customer needs, prioritizing backlogs, and analyzing metrics to guide product success. Develop and communicate the product strategy, vision, and roadmap to stakeholders. Guide products from concept through development, launch, and eventual retirement. Research market trends, analyze competitors, and gather user feedback to define product needs. Translate business strategies into detailed, actionable product requirements and user stories for engineering teams. Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, customer demand, and technical feasibility. Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and support to ensure successful product releases.

This role is responsible for the design of the solution for business initiatives developed in the above areas in collaboration with the Director IT Digital Solutions. The Product Manager needs to be highly collaborative, well organized, with strong communication & problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should also have management experience to lead individual contributor(s), contractors & vendors as the role evolves over time to include additional digital responsibilities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Define and drive a product roadmap aligned with customer needs, business priorities, and platform capabilities.

• Understanding of software development lifecycles, UI/UX design principles, and A/B testing.

Responsible for: Managing all store waste programs including recurring waste, hazardous waste, cardboard bales, and oversize waste programs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance

Utilize work order and financial data to develop annual OpEx plans in partnership with Finance and FM leadership. Utilize store level waste pickup cost, type, and frequency data to analyze and optimize waste pickup services to minimize on-demand pickup requests and expenses. Partner with Procurement for all waste services bids for planned service and reactive services. Manage all store level requests for waste services support. Hold monthly or quarterly business reviews with all contracted service providers to include developing action plans for improving services and reducing costs. Identify and implement opportunities to improve service levels and reduce costs. Partner with Finance to address billing discrepancies.

The Manager, IT Digital Operations owns the operational health, support and subject-matter expertise of the processes & technologies related to the consumer-facing content and website & mobile application flow for Family Dollar. These areas include, but are not limited to the web storefronts, mobile/loyalty apps, social media platforms, promotional emails and consumer rewards/contests. This role involves maintaining the integrity of the product, pricing, inventory and store locator data and measures performance criteria related to traffic, click-through rates, search/browse/nav behavior, site monetization, conversion rates, ROAS and other web analytics. This manager works regularly with internal business stakeholders such as Marketing, Social, UX/Design and Copywriters. Production defect management is also a part of the role working in partnership with internal Web Developers and IT in addition to engaging with external vendors associated with web hosting, site caching, analytics, reviews and other modules related to 3rd party technology service providers.

•Ensure that root cause analyses are completed, and action plans are defined, documented and completed.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

•Minimum 5 years online operations experience within a multichannel environment
