We are currently seeking an experienced Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients undergoing Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) procedures in a unique and rewarding clinical environment.
What Youll Do:
As a per diem RN, you will play a vital role in patient care and sedation management during ESWL procedures. Working alongside urologists and support staff, youll provide direct patient care with a focus on safety, comfort, and professionalism. Responsibilities include:
- Administering IV sedation, as needed, under urologist supervision in accordance with state regulations.
- Performing comprehensive pre-procedure nursing assessments.
- Providing patient education on lithotripsy treatment and recovery.
