CRNA (OB Anesthesia) Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience required
- Demonstrated proficiency with spinals, epidurals, neuraxial anesthesia, and regional blocks
- Comfort working in an MD/CRNA care team model and collaborating with Labor & Delivery staff
- Ability to respond to OB anesthesia needs during assigned call periods (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM during scheduled on-weeks)
Key Responsibilities (Labor & Delivery)
- Provide safe, evidence-based OB anesthesia care for Labor & Delivery and other OB-only cases
- Perform and manage epidurals, spinals, and appropriate regional anesthesia techniques
- Monitor patients throughout the peri-anesthesia continuum and respond to changes in clinical status
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and the broader care team to support excellent maternal outcomes and patient safety
- Participate in night call coverage every night during scheduled on-weeks and document anesthesia care per facility standards
