How You’ll Make a Difference
As an Assistant Dental Office Manager, you will report to the Manager and perform daily front office tasks and duties to help create lasting impressions and build trust and loyalty with patients. When you join an Aspen Dental practice, you’ll participate in an eight-week training program to succeed in your role.
- Provide superior patient service with compassion and care in accordance with patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards
- Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
- Consult with patients on treatment options provided by clinical team, verifying insurance payment and collection ensuring high quality of care
- Under the direction of the Manager, supervise and reinforce the daily tasks and priorities of the non-clinical team
- Review data day to day to evaluate the impact on the practice
- Oversee scheduling and confirming patient appointments
- Verify insurance payment, collection, balance nightly deposits and credit card processing

Preferred Qualifications
- The right person for this role will need to be available to travel 2-3 months for training in another Aspen Dental branded location.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving demand forecasts across assigned businesses, while collaborating with other department personnel to optimize inventory levels, service performance, and production efficiency. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other Supply Chain partners to lead and support monthly S&OP meetings, develop seasonally appropriate forecasts, and monitor accuracy and bias metrics.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop statistical and collaborative forecasts at multiple levels (SKU, Item Class, Regional, Business Segment etc.).
- Analyze historical sales data and trends, seasonality, weather impacts, and market indicators.
- Incorporate sales input, promotions, and new product initiatives specific to business demand.
- Monitor forecasting metrics (WMAPE, Bias) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and support monthly S&OP meetings, effectively communicating adjustments and shifts in demand across SKUs or Item Classes.
- Manage phase-in/phase-out planning for new product initiatives and discontinued SKUs.
- Help improve demand planning processes and documentation of best-in-class standard operating procedures.
- Help improve demand segmentations and SKU rationalization process to optimize business segment portfolios within specific regions.
- Identify SKUs with production or procurement challenges while maintaining and issuing lead time distribution by business segment.
- Updates measurable performance metrics while recommending and making changes to improve performance of company’s overall forecasting, inventory turns, and service goals.
