POSITION

Geologist/Environmental Engineer

SALARY RANGE

$75K – $115K depending on level of experience.

ROLE

• Plan and conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), site characterizations, and remedial investigations for complex contaminated properties (e.g., highway corridors, industrial properties, and large-scale redevelopment and infrastructure projects for public agencies including the Port of Oakland, City of San Francisco, and Contra Costa County).
• Oversee drilling, well installation, soil/groundwater/soil vapor sampling, noise level surveys, air monitoring, and construction oversight.
• Prepare boring logs and process soil, groundwater, and soil vapor data.
• Develop or refine Conceptual Site Models to support data interpretation, risk assessments, and remedial strategy.
• Assist in the preparation of high-quality technical reports, including investigation reports, feasibility studies, and remediation plans.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in geology or environmental engineering.
• 3 to 10 years of professional experience is preferred.
• A California professional registration (PG or PE) is preferred.

LOCATION

• Hybrid remote and Downtown Oakland office.
