POSITION SUMMARY:


This entry-level position supports the NGS Appeals Department by reviewing, analyzing, and processing non-complex pre-service and post-service grievances and appeals. These requests may originate from members, providers, regulatory entities, or third parties and involve Medicare Part A and Part B products.

The role focuses on issues related to clinical and non-clinical services, quality of service, and quality of care, including executive and regulatory grievances. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

POSITION SUMMARY

  2. Maintain daily communications with project manager regarding status of job, including any significant changes required in the scope of work and subsequent change order(s).
  3. Coordinate, participate, contribute, and implement the Project Team responsibilities of pre-construction, construction, and post-construction assignments.
  4. Oversee the effectiveness and evaluate the performance of project foremen and their crews.
  5. Observe, monitor, and control manpower efforts and productivity. Coordinate field personnel with the Director of Field Operations. Monitor costs daily.
  6. Ensure that all required paperwork is filled out accurately, correctly and turned in timely. The required paperwork includes time sheets with cost codes, equipment time sheets with cost codes, daily productivity/quantity reports, daily reports, accident reports, equipment/scaffolding release forms, project status reports, invoice approvals (when required), field purchase orders, time, and material sheets, extra work/back charge sheets, equipment time reports, safety meeting minutes, job meeting minutes, etc.
  7. Follow and implement company safety program. Conduct safety meetings and safety inspections, ensure toolbox talks are being conducted and maintain good housekeeping.
  8. Maintain excellent working relations with Owners, their representatives, construction managers, architects, and engineers. Pursue and obtain repeat business through complete customer satisfaction.
  9. Coordinate, cooperate and assist subcontractors, suppliers, and other prime trades. Maintain good working relationships.

Sika is looking for a Technical Service Representative to join it's growing team in the Buffalo, NY area. The TSR is responsible for monitoring the installation of Sika Sarnafil Roof Systems to ensure correct application procedures are followed. This is an outdoor position that requires extensive traveling to job sites. This individual performs warranty inspections and conducts training sessions for roofing contractor personnel. This position reports to the Regional Technical Manager. Salary range is $75,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Training of applicators to properly and efficiently install Sarnafil roofing and waterproofing systems in an effort to ensure quality and contractor profitability. Provide training to others as needed.
  • Overseeing the application process by attending job starts and performing in-progress project visits to monitor and enforce proper installation. Assure that application is in accordance with good roofing practices and Sarnafil specifications through documentation with field reports. Help to resolve installation problems and issues as they arise.
  • Conducting final inspections for technical acceptance for warranty issuance.
  • Act as the liaison between the applicator, General contractor, consultant, architect, building owner, and Sarnafil during the installation process.
  • Advising Technical Manager concerning progress, issues, problems project needs.
  • Assist Sales and others with pre-job meetings, roof surveys, and warranty claim issues.
  • Following up on leak and warranty claim calls, and complete necessary Sarnafil repairs as needed.
  • Inspection of existing Sarnafil roofs for warranty transfers, warranty extensions, and annual inspections.

Qualifications

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to ensure our projects are delivered successfully and on time. This position will provide direct on-site supervision and overall management of commercial construction projects. The successful candidate must possess the knowledge, experience, and confidence to engage and professionally interact with design professionals, consultants and clients while successfully directing subcontractors and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget. This position requires strict adherence to quality standards and ensures the safety and security of the construction site. This individual will work closely with the Project Manager and fulfill an integral role on our projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop the overall critical path schedule with the Project Manager prior to construction and manage that schedule throughout the project including the creation and maintenance of look-ahead schedules. Identify schedule slips and correct independently or in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Develop and maintain the site logistics plan for the project.
  • Perform constructability reviews and inform the Project Manager of any errors, discrepancies, and omissions or challenges with the building design and sequencing.
  • Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each relevant subcontractor.
  • Set up the Redev CNY field office appropriate for the project which may include a job trailer(s), storage container(s), chemical toilet(s), temporary fencing and security, project and safety signage, parking accommodations, and doors and locks for use during construction.
  • Conduct preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors prior to beginning each phase of work.
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with all members of the project team including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure they are informed of relevant project information.
  • 100% of our work is subcontracted out. Schedule and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and utilities using the critical path schedule to ensure timely project completion.
  • Control all day-to-day site activities and complete daily logs to document progress and/or challenges on site.
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor & safety meetings.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and orderly field office and job site. Create and/or maintain the following project documentation: daily reports, safety checklists, safety meetings, OSHA postings, as-built drawings, requests for information, shop drawings, submittals, test reports, and any other necessary project documentation.
  • Ensure all employees and subcontractors on-site perform work in a safe manner, which complies with Redev CNY’s safety program and OSHA guidelines. Prepare a project-specific safety plan when required, and solicit and review subcontractor safety plans for their own scopes of work.
  • Perform regular job site inspections to identify potential issues such as safety, poor work quality, material availability etc. Instruct staff and comply with all client requirements for site access, material staging, cleanliness etc.
  • Ensure the project site is kept clean and in a safe working environment.

  • Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control to ensure conformance with contract documents.
  • Documents “as-built” drawing conditions on a routine basis by all trades during the construction period.

  • Competitive Pay - Earn an annual base salary ranging from $105,500 - $168,400 based on market compensation analysis and experience.

Qualifications: Skills & Experience That Shine
  • Master's Degree OR commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of NP or PA licensure
  • Current NP/PA licensure in state of practice to include prescription authority or the ability to obtain prescriptive authority as needed
  • NCCPA, AANP, AACN or ANCC board certification in Adult, Adult Gerontology Primary Care, Adult Gerontology Acute Care, Family, Emergency or Acute Care specialty
  • Current BLS, ACLS or CPR certification
  • 1 year of NP or PA experience
  • Able to travel up to 80-90% of the time for extended periods of time to include overnight travel and weekends across the assigned state and possibly neighboring states
  • Valid state driver's license for the state of residence
  • Automobile insurance coverage requiring for the state of residence (or ability to obtain)
