Our clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8-4:30 with no required On Call coverage, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform comprehensive medical examinations
  • Acquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditions
  • Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medications
  • Inform physicians about any problems or discrepancies that may arise
  • Monitor patients? progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries and other medical events
  • Prepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures (measure blood pressure and temperature, administer injections etc)
  • Provide therapeutic treatments (disinfecting wounds, stitching etc.)
  • Attend to emergencies
  • Cardiac Stress Testing
  • Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients
  • Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards
  • Collaborate effectively with team members of various specializations
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be board certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner and possess or be eligible to obtain an applicable New York State license
  • Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-years experience, although well qualified individuals with clinical experience in a cardiology setting will be considered and are encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examinations, therapy, and recovery
  • Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills while demonstrating the ability to work as part of a team
  • Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task

Competitive Salary: $85,000- $125,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
