Job Details We’re looking for a Controller who thrives on organization, detail, and juggling many moving financial parts across three companies.
This fully onsite role partners closely with the CEO/Owner, supports multiple departments, oversees forecasting, and ensures financial strategies align with company objectives.
Daily work ranges from managing American Express accounts, distributing petty cash, handling payroll through Paylocity, and reviewing tax reports, to creating client profitability reports and maintaining monthly financial graphs.
You’ll run profit and loss statements, balance sheets, assist with annual audits, and prepare journal entries for semi-monthly payroll cycles.
You’ll also manage commission spreadsheets to ensure accurate payouts, reconcile receipts and expenses in QuickBooks, administer the John Hancock 401(k) plan, handle vendor billing inquiries, prepare 1099s, track new business metrics, and capture all expenses across all three entities.
Other responsibilities include: Maintaining accounting systems and internal controls Overseeing AP/AR Filing BOE sales/use tax returns Managing license renewals Coordinating IRS/FTB returns and property tax filings Processing COBRA payment reconciliation Completing workers’ compensation audits The ideal candidate has at least 6+ years in financial management (insurance or financial services preferred), strong communication skills, and advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Paylocity, and Excel.
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting is required; a Master’s or CPA is a plus.

Job Description
The Breast Oncology & Plastics Physician Assistant performs a vital role in Cedars-Sinai Medical Group dedication to deliver effective and efficient quality health care services to its patients. Together, the collaborative Physician and PA will share responsibility for the health and welfare of our Breast Oncology members.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Follow protocols which provide medical authority when such are indicated in providing care.
- Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients including urgent, emergent, and non-urgent presentation.
- Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to augment physical findings.
- Define/document differential diagnoses and list differential diagnoses with most likely diagnosis included.
- Write orders for tests, procedures, and the implementation and management of therapies by following company protocols.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care, in collaboration with supervising physician.
- Interpret data and diagnostic results for appropriate course of action including but not limited to blood gasses, radiology, EKG, etc.
- Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart including follow-up notes.

Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Accredited by ARC-PA
License/Certification Requirements:
- Physician Assistant Licensure by the State of CA
- Strong in-patient experience is preferable
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
