Details Work setting is a 60-bed Medical Telemetry unit (7 East) in an acute care hospital Patient population includes medical patients with telemetry monitoring needs Patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6 Equipment used includes bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, and wound vacs EMR is Epic Day shift: Every other weekend required No on-call or call requirements Floating to a similar or lower acuity unit as needed 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license — must meet eligibility requirements for licensure in Missouri or hold a current MO or compact RN license BLS certification from AHA required ACLS certification from AHA preferred Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience in an inpatient setting required U.S.
Social Security Number required No employment gaps of 90 or more days within the past 12 months Must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift, with significant bending, stooping, lifting, and turning of patients with assistance; must be able to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs.
