Unit Description: As a Resource RN, you will care for a mixed population of patients across the UVM Medical Center. Our team is comprised of RNs and LNAs who float between different units to help cover inpatient staffing needs. As a department, we support up to 20 different units ranging from Medical-Surgical, Cardiology/Telemetry, Critical Care, to Maternal Child. Unit Description: Inpatient Psychiatric RNs work on both of our mental health care units: a 16-bed locked unit that cares for both voluntary & involuntary individuals and a 12-bed locked unit designed primarily for voluntary individuals requiring acute mental health care. Our RNs actively participate in treatment plans, treatment rounds, psychiatric assessment and care, along with medical/surgical assessment and care. This position is part of the multidisciplinary team comprised of MHT/LNAs, RNs, Providers, Social Worker/Case Managers, and Group Therapists. Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC.
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in Vermont.
Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist within one year of hire date.
Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist, preferred.
Current BLS and ACLS certification

EXPERIENCE:
Two years of experience in a PFT lab preferred. Bronchoscopy, Interventional Bronchoscopy and Cardio-Pulmonary Stress testing preferred. SIGN-ON BONUS:
External candidates are eligible for a one-time sign on bonus of up to $10,000 depending upon years of experience.
* $5000 bonus for professionals with less than three years of directly related experience or $10,000 bonus with three or more years of directly related experience.
