Responsibilities: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and reports are delivered on time.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, verifying the integrity of data between balance sheet accounts and source systems.
Prepare and post recurring journal entries, ensuring all business transactions are recorded.
Calculate profit elimination for intercompany transactions and prepare necessary entries.
Oversee inventory management, including valuation, counts, and variance analysis.
Manage fixed assets, including depreciation schedules, additions, disposals, and adjustments.
Maintain the General Ledger (GL), ensuring it accurately reflects the company’s financial transactions.
Handle intercompany accounting, including reconciliations, eliminations, and profit calculations.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline and improve accounting procedures and processes.
Ensure compliance with all internal controls, company policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, data analysis, and forecasting methods.
Proficiency in month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, recurring journal entries, profit elimination calculation, inventory, fixed assets, maintaining GL, and intercompany accounting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
