This role is meant to facilitate communication with vendors and customers, ensuring timely deliveries to meet customer requirements.

The position will report directly to the Manager.

Responsibilities: Operations: Schedule and dispatch vendors or independent contractors to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using telephones and dispatch software.

Communicates all pertinent data (customer's locations, type of pickup, scanning requirements, temperature requirements, ect.) to vendors at the time of dispatch.

Receive, input, and distribute On Demand work orders, proof of deliveries (PODs), and manifests, and prepare reports as required by management.

Serve as a contact person for all vendors within their route territories and inform them about traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, and other hazards.

Manage contact with vendors to ensure all routes are covered, as needed.

Determine responses needed to effectively and appropriately deal with emergencies, accidents, and breakdowns.

Communicate Chain of Custody standards (location scanning, specimens handling, parcel scanning, ect.) as required by Capstone Logistics customers.

Resolve vendor problems or grievances and refer to vendor management, if further assistance is needed.

Evaluate importance of incoming telephone calls and prioritize accordingly.

Provide support to the customer service team, on an as needed basis or during peak season.

Ensure that the policies and procedures, as defined in the Independent Contractor Operating Agreement, are consistently followed.

Makes decisions and takes the necessary actions to determine the most appropriate delivery methods to meet or exceed the customer's service expectations.

Maintain accurate documentation, on the status of each job within the dispatch POD, manages distribution of work, and ensures documentation is complete before jobs are cleared.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and efficient courier service for customers, according to route schedules and On Demand requests.

Confer with customers or supervising personnel, in order to address questions, problems, complaints, and requests for service.

Keep customers notified of changes with route schedules and or on demand delays.

Requirements: Excellent verbal communication and problem solving skills Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.

Interpersonal skills; ability to foster teamwork and motivate/coach others.

Weekly rate ranges from $1,050
- $1,075 per week and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The District Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of the store operation (average 3 stores) including, sales, payroll recruiting, training, employee relations, expense control, shrink and all related functions.

Duties also include the construction and opening, operating and closing/tear down of the assigned Spirit stores.

Applicants must be at least 21, have a flexible schedule and have 2 to 5 years experience in a multi-store supervisory position.

Job Description Major Responsibilities: Trainer Development – Conduct train the trainer classes for new Fleet Champion Trainers.

Conduct recertification for existing Champion Trainers.

Support and consult trainers during the onboarding of new drivers and provide guidance on new driver progression and certifications.

Training and Development – Develop and deliver training content to drivers, supervisors and managers.

Deliver hands on driver training within assigned geography.

Ensure that drivers are being trained in compliance with DOT and Medline standards.

DOT Compliance – Partner with the compliance team to ensure compliance with all applicable DOT regulations, including driver qualification files, Hours of Service, driver inspections and on the road performance.

Perform audits and inspections within assigned region as required.

Risk Management – Monitor driver scorecards and conduct risk reviews with Fleet Supervisors.

Compile metrics and provide trend analysis to Operations leadership on a continual basis.

Additional responsibilities include: Provide coaching to fleet supervisors and trainers Has limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact.

Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects.

Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies.

Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning.

Qualifications: Education Bachelor's degree in Safety, Transportation or a related field or equivalent experience.

Work Experience At least 2 years in a compliance or training role in a 100 plus vehicle fleet.

At least 2 years of experience applying and implementing training programs in a fleet environment.

At least 2 years compliance experience with a focus on FMCSR standards.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Experience leading and coordinating concurrent fleet projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.

Position requires approximately 40% travel (within state and out of state).

Conflict management and problem-solving skills.

Develop responses and action plans to USDOT interventions and safety audits as needed.

Capable of performing extensive amounts of due diligence and research on incidents involving legal counsel in support of the company in legal proceedings.

- $107,120.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.

This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.

Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
