Per Diem Surgical Physician Assistant Opening in Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City) Danbury Hospital, now part of Nuvance Health, is seeking a Per Diem Surgical Physician Assistant to join our established and growing Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services program in Danbury, Connecticut, located about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State.
Our busy service of 10 full-time Advanced Practitioners currently provides services to all surgical patients admitted to the hospital, as well as in Observation, Extended stay, Emergency room, and Operating room, including consults as well as pre and post-operative care.
Specialties include, but are not limited to, Urology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgical/Spine, Plastics, and ENT.
As we grow the program, we will be evolving to a 24/7 service that includes some OR assist The ideal candidate will be a board certified physician assistant with previous surgical and/or patient management experience and/or surgical residency training, though new graduates will be considered.

What You’ll Do
Assist the new home sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing contracts, change orders, price sheets, website audit and listings.
