Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.
Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.
Qualifications: GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as: Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.
Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

The opportunity:
Join 2 full-time providers practicing general pediatric orthopedics, including a multitude of conditions such as slipped capital femoral epiphysis, pediatric fracture care, benign bone tumors, lower extremity deformity, clubfeet, early-onset scoliosis, neuromuscular scoliosis, adolescent scoliosis, hip dysplasia, congenital deformity and more.
Support staff includes 2 full-time ortho techs, 2 dedicated medical assistants and 2 pediatric schedulers
Typical schedule includes 2-3 clinic days with availability for 2 OR days per week.
Pediatric orthopedic call only
Intraoperative 3D navigation adjuncts such as Ziehm and Arcadis, in addition to our established surgical spinal deformity program

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Duties:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Prepare meals and ensure clients receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.
- Perform patient observation to monitor changes in health status and report any concerns to healthcare providers.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and promoting cognitive engagement.
- Administer CPR if necessary and assist with catheter care as required by the client's health plan.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong observational skills to effectively monitor patient conditions.
- Ability to perform meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning duties.
- Knowledge of hospice care principles is a plus.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following care plans.
