Position Description:
Lincoln Land Community College is seeking qualified, part-time, non-benefited Instructor to teach Pathology in the Massage Therapy program at the LLCC Medical District Building in Springfield.

Instructors will be responsible for the following:
Prepare lessons and update course materials as needed including course syllabi.
Develop quizzes, exams, and other course materials.
Provide quality instruction and classroom management.
Make recommendations for updates/changes as needed to maintain currency of the program.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance including following grading procedures.
Collaborate with the program coordinator to address and resolve student concerns, proactively identifying potential barriers to a positive learning environment, and promptly reporting and managing any incidents that may arise in the classroom setting
Collaborate with fellow massage therapy instructors to co-teach the program, ensuring alignment on content and scheduling
Utilize instructional technology in support of the teaching/learning process

Instructor's pay will range from $28.00-$35.00 per hour depending on experience and education. This position will begin immediately upon successful completion of the hiring process. The anticipated class schedule is October 29, 2026 – February 11, 2027 (Mon & Thurs) from 5:30 pm -9:30 pm. The exact dates and times to be discussed and decided upon with the person chosen for the position.

Position Requirements
Instructors must meet the following requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience and/or education in health care, pathology, public health, OR long-term massage therapy practice with extensive knowledge of a wide range of pathologies.
Candidates must be available in the evenings.

Preferred Qualifications:
Completed degree (associates or higher) in related area content such as nursing, health science education, or related field.
Experience teaching in a massage therapy program is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and collaborative skills for co-teaching environment.

Responsibilities

Our Occupational Therapists/OTs help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. Occupational Therapists/OTs use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients and the basic motor functions of patients, as well as to compensate for any loss of function that patient may be experiencing. Occupational Therapists/OTs administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the family and other members of the health care team. GENERAL SUMMARY:

Function as a Cashier and/or Stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs. Provide exemplary customer service. Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting company assets and reducing losses.

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Unload trucks according to the prescribed process for the store.

* Follow company work processes to receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.

* Stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves and build merchandise displays.

* Restock returned and recovered merchandise.

* Order zones and drop shipment categories, following prescribed ordering practices, as assigned by the Store Manager.

* Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.

* Assist customers by locating merchandise.

* Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restroom and stockroom.

* Greet customers as they enter the store.

* Maintain register countertops and bags; implement register countertop plan-o-grams.

* Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase; bag merchandise.

* Collect payment from customer and make change.

* Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays.

* Help to maintain a clean, well-organized store and facilitate a safe and secure working and shopping environment.

* Provide superior customer service leadership.

* Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures manual, Employee Handbook, and company communications.

* Open and/or close the store under specific direction of the Area Manager.

In the Absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager:

* Authorize and sign for refunds and overrides; count register; make bank deposits.

* Assist in maintaining strict cashier accountability, key control, and adherence to company security practices and cash control procedures.

* Monitor cash levels and make appropriate drawer pulls as directed by the Store Manager.

* Monitor cameras for unusual activities (customers and employees), if applicable.

* Supply cashiers with change when needed.

* Complete all required paperwork and documentation according to guidelines and deadlines as assigned.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

* Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

* Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.

* Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

* Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.

* Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills.

* Understanding of safety policies and practices.

* Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:

* High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

* Frequent walking and standing

* Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to run check out station, stock merchandise and unload trucks; which may also require the ability to push and/or pull rolltainers for stocking merchandise

* Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment such as handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies, U-boats (six-wheel carts), and rolltainers

* Frequent and proper lifting of up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds

* Occasional climbing (using step ladder) up to heights of six feet

* Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level

* Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions

* Occasional or regular driving/providing own transportation to make bank deposits, attend management meetings and travel to other Dollar General stores.

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Handle all front desk related activities including:
    • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
    • Check members into the system.
    • New member sign-up.
    • Take prospective members on tours.
  • Facilitate needed updates to member's accounts.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
