This is a dynamic role supporting an elementary school student and offers a consistent weekday schedule: Monday through Friday.

Position Details:

• Location: Skagit County, WA.
• Start & End Date: Remainder of 2025–2026 School Year.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, follows district schedule.
• Hours: Approximately 32.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to an elementary student throughout the school day.
• Assist with implementing IEP goals under the direction of the Special Education Teacher.
• Support academic tasks, behavior management, and social skill development.
• Facilitate inclusion in the general education classroom as appropriate.
• Utilize de-escalation and positive reinforcement strategies.
• Collect data on student progress and communicate with the educational team.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with special needs, particularly those with autism.
• Ability to follow structured behavior plans and support team collaboration.
• Paraprofessional Certificate.
