Job Description Job Description Description: Attention all Physician Assistants, we are calling you to partner with us as independent contractors providing services to our Military Service members.
We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of Idaho on an "as needed basis".
The candidate MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE IN FAMILY MEDICINE AS A PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT.
This is an outpatient only position.
Call is approximately 1 time every 40 nights and consists of phone calls with no hospital work A nurse triage service screens patient calls.
Hospitalist coverage is provided.
Our appointment-based family medicine providers work 4 days per week in the clinic.
- Level III+ NICU provides 24-hr comprehensive specialty care for premature and high-risk infants delivered at SARMC or transported to SARMC NICU, as well as the sickest of full-term infants.
- On-site Pediatric Gastroenterology, 24-hr Anesthesia, Radiology and Emergency Medicine coverage.
- On-campus OB/GYN clinic with 20 providers and community network of employed and allied primary & specialty care clinics.

- Hospital & outpatient, interdisciplinary team consultations for patients in need of palliative care.

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
