This role offers a collaborative clinical environment with the autonomy to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Position Details: Location: Toledo, OH Schedule: Monday???Friday, 8:00 AM???4:00 PM Call: Nightly call 4:00 PM???8:00 AM; 24-hour call for two weekends per month Call Ratio: 1:3 (approximately 10 call days per month) Patient Volume: ~12 patients per day EMR: EPIC Key Responsibilities: Perform pre-operative exams and coordinate patient care Manage post-operative inpatient care and ICU rounding Remove sutures; diagnose and treat illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and document care Requirements: Active Ohio NP license ANCC or AANP certification Current BLS and ACLS Ability to work independently with physician support available daily and 24/7 by phone Additional Information: Credentialing timeframe: 60???90 days (expedited if file is clean) Coverage needed due to onboarding of new hires This is an excellent opportunity to build cardiothoracic surgery experience in a well-supported, high-acuity setting.
