Position Overview: Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology Coverage Type: Call only Dates: April 27, 2025, to May 1, 2025, and June 1, 2025, to June 5, 2025 Location: Near Ellettsville, IN Start Date: April 27, 2025 End Date: Ongoing (based on need) Key Responsibilities: Provide call coverage, handling C-section procedures and obstetric emergencies.
Respond to call as needed, with an average of 0-1 patient consults per 24-hour period.
Coordinate with local providers for patient care, including potential transfers to higher levels of care when required.
Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech births, and VBACs.
Conduct gynecological procedures such as IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP.
Interpret OB ultrasounds, including viability, anatomic, and targeted screening.
Support and manage high-risk pregnancies, ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and baby.
Qualifications: Board Certification: Must be board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Licensure: Must be licensed to practice in Indiana or have IMLC eligibility.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP required.

MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
- Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Flex Houseparents eventually transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they live and work with the same group of students in their own student home.
