A growing and well-established litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of Insurance Defense experience to join its team. Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Insurance Defense and be comfortable handling cases from early stages through resolution. This role offers meaningful hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to take ownership of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload with oversight from senior attorneys
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and other court appearances
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of civil litigation/insurance defense experience
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Experience in state and/or federal court preferred
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Licensed and in good standing with the applicable state bar

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)
• Aggressive quarterly bonus structure based on billings
• Typical bonuses range from $3,000–$4,000 per quarter
• Top performers can earn $25,000+ annually in bonuses
• Flexible work environment: in-office, hybrid, or potential remote options depending on experience and performance
• Initial in-office period expected for onboarding and training

Billable Requirement:

• 1,900 hours annually
